Deb's baby sweaters

Deb has been knitting for years, but had never made a sweater. She thought she should give it try and decided to start small with a baby sweater. Well, as these things go, she quickly completed the first and started the second. She stopped in recently to show us her very first, and second, finished sweaters! She did a beautiful job and the results are so sweet!



Not only did Deb end up with two adorable sweaters, but she learned two different sweater constructions. The green sweater is the Little Jersey pattern from Knitting at Knoon and is knit in Debbie Bliss's Cashmerino DK. The sweater is knit in pieces and then seamed together. The purple sweater is knit in Shepherd Worsted and is the Baby Pullover from Knitting Pure & Simple. It is worked from the top down on circular needles. In fact, we are running a class on this sweater, if you are feeling inspired by Deb's handiwork!
