Kathy, Grace, and Kersti

Last week Kathy and Grace both came to work with new Kersti sweaters.

Kathy's Perfect Cardigan in Kersti
Kathy made a cardigan based on the Perfect Sweater designed by the readers of Mason Dixon Knitting, Mandy Moore, and Ann Shayne. She enjoyed knitting it, loves the way it fits, and said she'll knit it again. That's saying a lot, considering how many sweaters Kathy's knit!

Grace's Pompom Tie Cardigan in Kersti
For her sweater, Grace used the Pompom Tie Cardigan from Debbie Bliss's book, Cashmerino DK. As you can see, Grace eliminated the pompom tie, and she hasn't yet selected buttons.

New colors of Kersti arrived last week. After careful consideration, both Kathy and Grace chose colors for their next sweaters. You can find out for yourself why knitting sweaters with Kersti is so much fun in two classes were offering next month - the Neck Down V-Neck Shaped Cardigan and the Neck Down Pullover.

Both sweaters are knit in one piece from the top, so there's minimal finishing once the knitting's complete. And with both you'll learn increasing, decreasing, casting on additional stitches, and picking up stitches. Of course, you don't have to knit with Kersti; we have several other DK-weight yarns you can use. Read about these and all of our current classes here.
