a whimsical hat

Rachel graciously offered to model the Whimsical Hat that I knit with Blue Sky Alpaca's Sportweight in the natural light tan. The pattern calls for a smaller than usual sized needle, which makes a denser, warmer fabric.



I really like the decreases on this hat because they don't swirl. I'm thinking of making another one, but this time using Estelle in paddock brown. It would be a great holiday gift!
