After yesterday's hint of spring, we woke to a chilly morning. I'm in the store waiting for the heat to kick in, when this photo appears in my inbox -
Three adorable kids looking toasty warm in their knit hats. These wonderful hats were knit by their grandmother with Koigu's DK-weight yarn, Kersti. Each has stripes of one multi-color and one solid. She created the pattern by combining parts of hats she's knit before to get the shape and size she wanted.
I tend to think of Kersti as a sweater yarn, but - as we see here! - it's great for accessories, too.
