Time and again we reach for the wonderful sweater patterns from Knitting Pure and Simple. Most have classic shapes that are great for featuring beautiful yarn. And because the patterns are written from the neck down, they are completed with little seaming.



Laura knit this baby pullover in Supermerino, a hand-dyed superwash merino. She used 3 skeins for the 6 month size.

Knitting baby sweaters is a great way to learn in new technique. Even if you don't have a baby to give the sweater to, you'll learn to knit the sweater while using less yarn and less time (and you'll have a hand knit baby gift the next time you need one!).
